Writing Workshops
Interested in journaling? Not sure why people journal? Not sure if it's for you? Not sure where to start, even?
In this workshop, we'll learn different ways to journal and why it's a beneficial thing to do.
Humans have been journaling for as long as they could write. Documenting your thoughts, experiences, secrets, opinions, recipies, all of it is important.
Journaling is a proven way to decrease stress. If you can't talk to anyone else about your thoughts or beliefs, at least you've got your journal. It's amazing the relief one feels simply by sharing something on paper, even if no one else reads it.
Journaling promotes creativity. A blank page is exciting if you let it be! The possibilities are endless. Let your imagination roam! Or, create boundaries and see what happens there.
Journaling is an active connection between your brain, your hand, and the pen on the page. This is great exercise for your grey matter.
And...journaling is fun.
Bring paper and pen - or use what we provide. Small, simple journals will be provided, but you may learn you like a different kind!
